- [1] names the ruleset 東京ルール, also 全一飜縛り麻雀 (all iihan shibari), and dates it to 1957 with Daizo Amano as author. Crucially it states there is NO kandora and NO uradora in these rules, which is negative evidence that both arrived later. Its han-from-dice mechanic — each 1 or 6 rolled, or any pair summing to 7, adds a han, re-rolling until at least one is added — is the early variable form of what later became a flat bonus, and the page notes that this zoroba does not count towards the one-han minimum
Reading it
Two independent sources now agree on the 1957 date, Amano's authorship and the one-han minimum that gives the node its name, and riichi.wiki supplies the Japanese titles, 東京ルール and 全一飜縛り麻雀. The page also settles a question the next node raises: the 1957 rules have no kandora and no uradora, so the chart is right to place ura dora at 1967. Its dice-driven han bonus is the early, variable ancestor of bazoro, and it explicitly does not count toward the minimum.
